A distinctive ankle boot with crepe sole and suede or leather upper, traditionally supplied by Charles F. Stead tannery in Leeds. The Desert Boot, designed 65 years ago by the founder’s great-grandson Nathan Clark, was inspired by suede boots produced in the bazaars of Cairo and worn by British officers during the Second World War.
